Aurélie Surteauville

Associate

Aurélie discovered environmental law during her training at the Lille Law School, within the Hauts-de-France Regional Directorate for Environment, Urban Planning and Housing (DREAL), a field in which she has been practising for nearly ten years after gaining experience in various law firms. She assists companies and public entities in the management of their real estate or industrial projects in the areas of environmental and urban planning law: identifying and obtaining the necessary authorisations (“ICPE” - facilities subject to environmental regulations, protected species exemptions, etc.), as well as in the operational management of this type of project (reviewing impact studies and environmental assessments, administrative timetables, responses to public inquiries, etc.). She also acts as trial lawyer, particularly for administrative litigation, and advises on issues of contaminated sites and soils, supporting her clients in their due diligence processes. Since 2022, she has been working with Emmanuel Guillini, deepening her expertise in urban planning law. She has developed particular expertise in issues relating to wind farm facilities.
