Lmt Avocats turns 25 this year

Remember yesterday?...

Dear Friends,

Loyal and trustworthy: Those whom we have worked with these past twenty-five years know of our loyalty to our clients and to one another within the law firm. Many of you have been with us from the outset, and we find it as gratifying as ever to help those who trust in us, be they young start-ups or more mature businesses!

Emmanuel Fleury was made a partner in January 2015 to further our Commercial Litigation and Commercial Property practices. With more than ten years’ experience, his procedural skills are a valuable addition to the teams dealing with contract performance and termination issues and unfair competition matters.

Bruno Richard joined the law firm in September 2015 with a mandate to develop Lmt Avocats’ Public Law / Construction Law practice with his expertise in administrative contracts, urban planning, and environment law on the one hand and big infrastructure, energy, and construction projects on the other hand, which also make him a valuable addition to our Real Estate and Industrial Risk & Insurance teams.

This is the year we celebrate: Christine Baudoin and Guy Martinet’s emotion- and memory-laden farewell after so many years together, and the 25th anniversary of the start of our voyage and our ambitions for our future together.

We will be in touch soon...

Kind regards.

Lmt Avocats

US folk musician Bob Dylan is the first singer-songwriter to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, much to the delight of his loyal fans.

Fashion house Hermès, who has been building trust and loyalty with its customers for nearly 180 years, has a record-breaking year: In addition to record profits, the auction value of its line of Birkin bags has risen faster than the S&P 500 in the course of the past 25 years!

After having remained true to its history on the Île de Cité for more than five centuries, the Parisian law courts will be moving to their new quarters in the Batignolles area in a few months.

It is the thirtieth anniversary of the Musée d’Orsay’s creation. Housed in the superb building that was once the eponymous train station, its creators trusted in the public’s taste in late 19th century art and in particular impressionism and post-impressionism.
