Jérôme Rousselle comments the French Act no. 2017-242 of 27 February 2017 reforming the criminal statute of limitations in his article “L'allongement des délais de prescription de l'action pénale profite à l'action civile de la victime” (available in French). The law doubles the statute of limitations for the prosecution of misdemeanours and felonies.
