Clients get monthly bills with a detailed statement of services so that they can keep up with what is being done in their case. Although we normally charge for time spent, a flat fee can be an option in special cases (recurrent work, multiple files, reasonably foreseeable and circumscript services, etc.). Also, in some litigation cases, we might charge a contingent fee in addition to our basic flat or time-spent-based fee.
